Limited Time Magic - Party for the Planet

The Limited Time Magic from April 22 - 28 was Party for the Planet at Animal Kingdom. Some extra characters were added to the parade. Koda, Kenai, Flik, Atta, Pocahontas, Meeko, Lilo, Stitch, Russell, Dug, Thumper, and Miss Bunny were added towards the end of the parade with Pluto.

There was also a dance party in Dinoland with Thumper, Miss Bunny, Flik, Atta, Koda, Kenai, Timon, Rafiki, Terk, Lilo, and Stitch.

New location for Jasmine and Aladdin

Due to construction in Morocco, Aladdin and Jasmine have moved indoors. Their new area is in the back of Morocco, across from Restaurant Marrakesh.

Only Jasmine was out when I was there.

Limited Time Magic - Fairies Week

Last week's Limited Time Magic Week was the opportunity to meet some fairies that haven't been around for a while. In the rotation was Tinkerbell, Rosetta, Fawn, Silvermist, Iridessa, Vidia, and Terence. When I arrived at Magic Kingdom, I headed straight to Pixie Hollow and I met Tinkerbell, Iridessa, Vidia, and Rosetta. I heard that Silvermist would be appearing at 5:30, so I decided to go back. I got on line around 4:45 and it was around 6:00 when I finally made it into Pixie Hollow. It was worth the wait though because I got to meet Tinkerbell, Silvermist, Fawn, and Terence. I couldn't believe that I met them all in one day.

Limited Time Magic - Fairies Week

The Disney Parks Blog has announced that the next Limited Time Magic event will be Fairy Week. It will be at Tinker Bell’s Magical Nook at Magic Kingdom from 9:15 am - 10:00 pm from April 15-21. You will have the chance to meet Tinkerbell, Fawn, Iridessa, Silvermist, Rosetta, Vidia, and Terence.

There have been rumors about this event taking place for a while now. It was pretty much confirmed when some long lost fairies started appearing at Epcot for meet and greets.


I will be going to meet the fairies because I love fairies and meeting characters. However, I don't even want to think about how long the line is going to be. On an average day the wait time is usually around an hour. With the addition of more fairies, I can picture the wait time being hours long. I wish they would have waited to do this event until after the princesses moved to Fantasyland. Then the fairies could be moved to Town Square Theater and be put into the two rooms that the Princesses are currently in. They could have even offered fastpass.

Aurora's New Look

Like Cinderella and Belle, Aurora has been given an updated look. When I first saw pictures of Aurora's new look, I hated it. Of course I had to go see it in person and it definitely looks better in person. But, just like Cinderella and Belle's new looks, Aurora's could use some adjustments. My major complaint is the sleeves. I just think they're awful and I'd love to rip them off. My favorite part is the crown. It looks so much better than her old one.

Easter Pre-Parade pictures

I was at Magic Kingdom on Easter and I got to see the Easter pre-parade. It was similar to last year's but this year's had the addition of flowers, butterflies, two Fantasia ostriches, and Daisy wore a different dress.

New RFID pass

If you are an annual passholder and want to exchange your current pass for the new RFID enabled pass, you're able to do so at the Odyssey Center at Epcot through May 19. You can either get Mickey, Minnie, Donald, or Goofy on your pass.

I've used my new pass twice since I exchanged it. The first time was at Magic Kingdom and I had no problem at all. The second time was at Epcot. The light on the new ticket reader would not turn green. The CM's solution to this was to yell at me to try a different finger. I calmly explained to him that it could not be another finger because I have used the same finger for nine years. His answer to that was to yell at me to just try another finger. I gave in and tried and of course the light didn't turn green because there was no possible way for it to be another finger. So, he yelled some more about how I had to try another finger. Shockingly, the light still did not turn green. Finally, another CM came over with a handheld ticket reader and scanned my ticket for me.

Easter Resort Characters

On Easter, he Disney resorts had characters out meeting guests. I was meeting friends for the day so we decided to start the day by visiting some of the resorts. They started at the Contemporary and met me at the Polynesian. I went to the Polynesian first because I heard that Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy would be there. Unfortunately, they weren't. Thumper and Chip and Dale were there.

We met Thumper and Chip and Dale and then took the monorail to the Grand Floridian. We found the characters and saw that Mickey and Minnie were out. We got on line and unfortunately we didn't get to meet them. We got to meet Goofy and the White Rabbit. We then took the monorail to the Contemporary and we were able to meet Chip and Dale in their tuxedos.

I loved meeting the characters that we met. I just wish they were out longer than two hours so we could have met more.
