Big Top Souvenirs Opens

Big Top Souvenirs opened this morning. I was lucky enough to be able to see it right after it opened. CM's, wearing clown noses, were outside to welcome you to the store. I never thought to take a picture of them though.

They sell drinks and snacks in the middle.

Jack and Sally visit Downtown Disney

Jack Skellington and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas are meeting with guests this weekend at Downtown Disney. They're meeting between the movie theater and the Harley Davidson store from 6pm-11pm. I got on line around 5:00 last night. By 6:00 the line was to the end of the Harley Davidson store and around the corner. There were hundreds of people on line. I have read reports of people waiting over three hours to meet them. If you're going this weekend, go early. Jack and Sally were both great and hugely popular. I hope to see them in the parks one day soon.

Characters That I Have Met

I decided that I wanted to put together a list of all the characters that I have met since I started going to WDW in 2004. It took me a while to compile the list and I hope I didn't forget any. I just wish I had pictures of myself with some of them. A relative took my picture with a bunch of them, promised to give them to me, and never did.

Day Report 26 - Hollywood Studios - May 2012

I left my house a little after 7:00 am. I got there, parked, walked to the entrance, and saw that the park was already open. I took some pictures of the Stormtroopers and then I was walking down Hollywood Blvd. at 8:00.

Once I got closer to the hat, I noticed that Boba Fett was on the stage.

Enchanted Tales With Belle

I was at Magic Kingdom on Sunday and I was lucky enough to go inside the new area of Fantasyland to experience Enchanted Tales With Belle. When I walked through the door and saw Maurice's cottage, the feeling was amazing. I don't think you could have wiped the smile off my face. At one point I was actually holding back tears. Beauty and the Beast is my favorite movie and I have been looking forward to the Beauty and the Beast section in the new Fantasyland. There were some things about Enchanted Tales With Belle that I loved and some that I didn't.

Here are some pictures of the outside of Maurice's cottage. As you can see, it was raining. The pictures aren't very good but I'm hoping to be able to go back on a nicer day to get more pictures.

Alice in Wonderland Trick or Treat Trail

At MNSSHP, there used to be an Alice in Wonderland Trick or Treat trail that went from the Toontown train station down the path to Tomorrowland. Once Toontown was closed, the trail went away. Could it be coming back this year? I think it's a very strong possibility. I wonder if Mr. Walrus will make an appearance.

Periwinkle makes her debut at Magic Kingdom

Periwinkle made her debut at Magic Kingdom today. She told me that she's supposed to stay in the Winter Woods but Tinkerbell found a way to bring her to the mainland. Next time you go to Magic Kingdom, fly on in to meet Perwinkle and Tink in her new winter outfit.

Halloween Merchandise

Halloween Merchandise is now available at Walt Disney World.

There are two ear hats.




A very cute mug.


 Scarecrow Mickey antenna topper.


There's also lanterns, shopping bags, pins, a lanyard, popcorn, candy corn, a placemat, rice crispy treats, shopping bags, t-shirts, and various other things.

Day Report 25 - Animal Kingdom - May 2012

I went to Animal Kingdom with my mom since it was Mother's Day. I thought we'd go see her favorite show, Festival of the Lion King. It's actually her favorite thing to do in all of Disney World.

We arrived around 9:30 and I waited for some characters to come out. Timon and Goofy came out and I met Timon.

When we entered the park, all mothers were given a carnation.


We made our way to Camp Minnie-Mickey.
