Day Report 25 - Animal Kingdom - May 2012

I went to Animal Kingdom with my mom since it was Mother's Day. I thought we'd go see her favorite show, Festival of the Lion King. It's actually her favorite thing to do in all of Disney World.

We arrived around 9:30 and I waited for some characters to come out. Timon and Goofy came out and I met Timon.

When we entered the park, all mothers were given a carnation.


We made our way to Camp Minnie-Mickey.




I met Terk, Thumper, and Minnie.


We watched Festival of the Lion King. I wish I had a camera capable of getting better shots of the show.


My mom and I then shared a cinnamon sugar funnel cake. I forgot to take a picture of it. I then met Goofy, Donald, and Brer Bear.


I wanted to meet Russell and Dug, so that's where we headed next. I was in line for their last set of the day.


My mom sat on a bench while I ventured into Dinoland. I took a few pictures and then left.


We found a spot for the parade, watched it twice, and then we left.
