Day Report 6 - Epcot - January 2012

I arrived at opening and went right to Soarin' to grab a fastpass. I then rode Journey Into Imagination and then rode Soarin' in row 3.

I looked around for characters but didn't see any except for Aurora, who was on her way inside.

I waited around for a while and Cinderella and Aurora came out. I met both of them and took pictures of them.

May The Fourth Be With You

In honor of Star Wars Day, I thought I'd share some Star Wars pictures that I've taken during Star Wars Weekends. I'm looking forward to taking lots more this year.

Merida makes her debut at Disney World

Last night, I saw that Merida was out at Epcot yesterday for the first time. I was planning on going to Disney World today but I wasn't planning on going to Epcot. I decided to change my plans and go to Epcot in the hopes of meeting Merida. I didn't know where she would be, so I waited for in Future World. I met a couple people who were also waiting for her and one of them found out that Merida was out at the International Gateway. I walked there, sat, and waited. She came out a little after noon and I got to meet her. I watched her interact with a lot of people and she was such a nice, sweet, chatty, personable Princess. I really can't say enough good things about her. She will definitely be a great addition the character line up at Magic Kingdom.

Tuesday's Top Three

I decided that on Tuesdays, I will list my top three favorite Disney things. It may be characters, attractions, shows, or something else.

Top Three Parades

1. Boo To You Parade.
 Boo To You Parade
The Boo To You Parade can be seen during Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. It has great music, characters in costumes, villains, and Haunted Mansion gravediggers.

2. Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade.
Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade
Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade can be seen during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party or during the day when the parties have ended for the year. I like to go and watch it during the day. There are characters in Christmas outfits, Princesses, Princes, Scrooge, Seven Dwarfs, Toy Soldiers, and Santa Claus.

3. Celebrate A Dream Come True Parade
Celebrate A Dream Come True Parade
The Celebrate A Dream Come True Parade is performed daily at Magic Kingdom. I have to admit, I watch it every time I'm there. There's just something about the parade that I have to watch it. You can see a lot of your favorite characters, Rapunzel and Flynn were recently added, and the music is pretty catchy.

What are your favorite parades?
