New (to me) Characters I Met This Year

This year I was able to meet thirty-four characters that I have never met before. I really can't believe that I met that many. My favorite of all of them would have to be Lumiere. He was my number one character to meet and I really never thought I'd get the chance to meet him. I am looking forward to see what characters 2014 will bring.

In January, I met Lumiere, Cogsworth, Chip, Ludwig Von Drake, The Big Bad Wolf, Fifer Pig, Fiddler Pig, and Practical Pig.








I met Silvermist in April.

Day Report 29 - Hollywood Studios - June 2012

Somehow I managed to pull into the parking lot at 7:40. I went and got some pictures of the Stormtroopers and Boba Fett.

Day Report 28 - Hollywood Studios - June 2012

I left my house a little after 7:00 and I'm not sure what time I arrived at the park. I took some pictures of the Stormtroopers and of Boba Fett.


I was watching Muppet Vision 3D before 8:30.


I went and got on line to meet Chewbacca. I got on line a little after 8:30 and he wasn't due to come out until 9:30. I really don't know why they don't get the characters out earlier. Then it started to rain, which meant Chewbacca couldn't come out yet. He wound up coming out fifteen to twenty minutes later than scheduled.

Day Report 26 - Hollywood Studios - May 2012

I left my house a little after 7:00 am. I got there, parked, walked to the entrance, and saw that the park was already open. I took some pictures of the Stormtroopers and then I was walking down Hollywood Blvd. at 8:00.

Once I got closer to the hat, I noticed that Boba Fett was on the stage.

Star Wars Weekends

 

I attended Star Wars Weekends yesterday and it was a lot of fun. I'm still in the process of resizing, editing, and uploading pictures so they won't be posted for a while.

I thought I'd share some of the highlights of my day.

• I met Darth Vader and Darth Maul again.
• I met Jango Fett, Boba Fett, and Aurra Sing for the first time.
•  I met Anakin.  
•  I saw the Jawas for the first time. I look for them every year and this was the first year that I got to see them.
• I bought the Minnie Mouse as Princess Leia vinylmation that I wanted.
•  I was able to get close to the stage after the parade.
•  I asked a CM when Aurra Sing would be out and I was told 3:40. I waited and waited for her. I asked another CM when she'd be out. I was told that she didn't know, they didn't know where she was, and they hadn't seen her. The CM told me that when they found out anything they'd let me know. A little while later, they told me she'd be out at 4:45. I waited for her and because of the CM's who knew I was waiting for her, she came out and came right over to me so I could get a picture with her.

Some of the not so great parts of the day.

• It was really hot. I wish they'd do Star Wars Weekends in a cooler month or move the character locations to shaded areas.
• I encountered a really rude CM. She was so rude that a CM, who was on line in front of me, apologized to me on behalf of all cast members.
• I never bought the Star Wars Weekends travel mug that I wanted.
• I still haven't met all the Star Wars characters yet.

In honor of Star Wars Day, I thought I'd share some Star Wars pictures that I've taken during Star Wars Weekends. I'm looking forward to taking lots more this year.
