Second Dumbo is Open

I was at Magic Kingdom yesterday and I got to ride the second Dumbo.

When you enter Storybook Circus, there are a couple new signs.


The fastpass machines are outside Philharmagic. Three of them were for Winnie the Pooh and four were for Dumbo. Unfortunately, I never got pictures of them.


There's now a sign with a spinning Timothy Mouse on top.


A new wait time sign.


Now you enter the standby queue on the right. You enter the tent and you're sent to one of the Dumbos. The rest of the tent wasn't open when I was in there. You walked in, told them how many, and they sent you on your way. Of course it was also right after park opening and there was no wait.

Day Report 11 - One More Disney Day

I arrived around 2:00 and tried to take pictures of the train station but there were too many people standing in front of it. I got my free button and went in the park. I noticed that my button was scratched so I wanted another one. I went back out, got some pictures of the train station, and entered from the other side so I could get another button.

Day Report 10 - Animal Kingdom - February 2012

I arrived at opening and it started raining as soon as I walked into the park. I walked through a shop for a little while and the rain stopped.

I went and rode the Safari and I had the worst driver ever. He never stopped the truck once. Not even for the mandrills who were out front and center. Since I got no pictures, I got a fastpass to ride again later.


I watched Festival of the Lion King.

Day Report 9 - Epcot - February 2012

I got to Epcot around opening and wandered around for a bit and then waited to see if any surprise characters would be out. Unfortunately, none came out.

Animal Kingdom Character Changes

Animal Kingdom has decided to remove several characters from the park. Meeko, Timon, Daisy, Thumper, and Miss Bunny have all been removed. Goofy has also been removed from Camp Minnie-Mickey and appears in Dinoland. Baloo and King Louie now occupy his spot in Camp Minnie-Mickey.

I don't know why they decided to remove so many characters. I loved that you could meet Meeko, Timon, Thumper, and Miss Bunny at Animal Kingdom since they're not at any other parks. I'd really love to know why they're always getting rid of characters instead of bringing out a better variety of them.

Day Report 8 - Magic Kingdom - February 2012

I arrived at Magic Kingdom just as the opening show was starting. When I went through the turnstile, I had time to snap a couple pictures and then the park opened.


 I got a fastpass for Peter Pan's Flight, walked on Winnie the Pooh, took some pictures of the Tremaines, and watched Philharmagic.
